Metro elected officials will be paid every two weeks, like staff
Metro's eight elected officials, the council president, councilors and auditor, are now paid twice a month, while all other Metro workers are paid every two weeks. This change puts the elected officials on the same every-two-weeks schedule. Their pay amounts do not change; the goal is to cut a separate manual payroll process before Metro switches to new finance and HR software called Workday in 2027.
