Office of Mayor Keith Wilson City of Portland 1221 SW Fourth Avenue, Suite 340  Portland, Oregon 97204 Mayor@Portlandoregon.gov August 31, 2026 Dear Metro President Gonzalez, I am writing to appoint Portland City Councilor Eric Zimmerman as the City’s alternate representative on Metro’s Supportive Housing Services Regional Policy and Oversight Committee (SHS RPOC). Councilor Zimmerman’s serves as Vice Chair of Portland City Council’s City Life Committee, in addition to serving on the Community and Public Safety Committee. His experience also includes serving on the City’s former Homelessness & Housing Committee. He has served on City Council since 2024 representing District 4. The Councilor is well-prepared to alternately represent the City by providing the regional oversight and accountability Metro has in upholding the Supportive Housing Services Measure 26-210 passed by voters in May 2020, including guiding regional coordination and approving regional investments. Thank you for your consideration of Councilor Zimmerman as an alternate member of the committee. Sincerely, Mayor Keith Wilson cc: Eric Zimmerman Alice Hodge Robin Ye Victor Sin
