Metro confirms new member of homeless services oversight committee
Metro Council confirmed Laura Golino de Lovato of NW Pilot Project to a 22-member committee that oversees Metro's Supportive Housing Services program. This program pays for housing and homeless services in the region. She takes the seat for a housing and homeless services coalition, replacing Angela Martin, who resigned, for the rest of that term.

RESOLUTION NO. 26-5636

WHEREAS, Metro Code Section 2.19.280 governs the Regional Policy and Oversight Committee
membership for Metro’s Supportive Housing Services (SHS) Program; and
WHEREAS, the Committee’s membership is comprised of 22 members that include elected
officials, homelessness and housing experts, service system representatives, and community stakeholders;
and
WHEREAS, the Committee member representing a housing/homeless services coalition, Angela
Martin, recently resigned, thus creating a vacancy on the Committee for that seat; and
WHEREAS, Metro Council President González has appointed Laura Golino de Lovato of NW
Pilot Project to serve as the housing/homeless services coalition representative for the remainder of
Angela Martin’s appointed term, and
WHEREAS, the Metro Council desires to confirm that appointment; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Metro Council:
1. Confirms the appointment of Laura Golino de Lovato to the SHS Regional Policy and
Oversight Committee for the term as set forth in Exhibit A.
ADOPTED by the Metro Council this 8th day of September 2026.
