Purpose and background

Financial and budgetary impacts
Not applicable.

Home Forward manages and develops much of the city of Portland's affordable housing and if this seat is not filled it may have a negative impact on their decision-making abilities, which could delay projects.
Community impacts and community involvement
The nominees have been selected by Home Forward and approved by Mayor Wilson. The nominees and representatives from Home Forward will be available at Committee, and, as needed, at the full council hearing.
100% renewable goal
This action has no impact on the City's total or renewable energy use.
